Privacy & Cookies

MakerCalc is built to need as little of your data as possible. The calculators need no account at all, and the figures you type into them are processed in your browser — your costs, prices and margins are never sent to our servers.

Optional free account

If you choose to create a free account (My Products), we store your email address and the product details you save — product names, costs and prices — so we can show your profit and email you when a confirmed marketplace fee change affects your products. Sign-in uses emailed one-time codes; we never store a password. You can turn alert emails off on your account page, delete individual products at any time, and we never sell or share your details.

Cookies

MakerCalc sets no cookies for visitors, which is why you don’t see a cookie banner. Your browser’s local storage is used only to remember your recent calculator inputs on your own device, so your numbers are still there when you come back. Clearing your browser data removes them, and the Reset Calculator button clears them per calculator.

Analytics

We record anonymous usage events — such as “a fee calculator was used” or “a comparison was performed” — to understand which tools are helpful. These events contain no personal information: no names, no IP addresses, no device identifiers, and none of the figures you enter. They cannot be linked to you.

Errors

If a page breaks, an anonymous error report (the technical error message and the page it happened on) is recorded so it can be fixed. It contains nothing about you.
